Dr. Xianhua Wang received her B.Sc degree in 2000 and Ph.D. degree in 2005 from Peking University. She got her postdoc training in the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Peking University during 2005-2007. She visited National Institute on Aging of NIH during 2009-2010. From 2007 to now, she worked in the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Peking University.
Research Interests: 1) Mechanism and significance of mitochondrial ROS signals, especially the elemental “superoxide flash”; 2) Molecular identification of mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) components.
